Summary:Esteban Peicovich interviews poet, essayist, licensed journalist, and university professor Osvaldo Ferrari. Ferrari was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina 1948. He has had several conversations with Jorge Luis Borges which have been published. He explains how he initially became acquainted with Borges and how his conversations with Borges came to be broadcast. Ferrari's dialogues with Borges have been published in two volumes. He announces the coming publishing of the third volume with dialogues that were previously excluded. Peicovich presents the topics discussed within the second volume of dialogues between Ferrari and Borges. Ferrari discusses some of the characteristics that made up Borges and other poets that Borges admired. Ferrari particularly talks about Macedonio Fernandez. He also talks about what Borges has done for Argentine literature to come. Ferrari also maintained radio broadcast dialogues with Ernesto Sabato, Alberto Girri, Basilio Uribe, and several other important poetic entities. These dialogues have been translated into Italian, French, German and Portuguese. Works Ferrari has published include Poemas de vida (1974) and Poemas autobiograficos (1981).
