He has done 157 flights since he began paragliding at age 65. He talks about the importance of freely enjoying life. Sciumbre describes what his childhood was like and shares an anecdote. Sciumbre explains what occurs during the process of paragliding and describes his first experience was like and what it continues to be like for him. Peicovich reads a review by Jorge Luis Borges of Maurice Maeterlinck's work, La inteligencia de las flores. Sciumbre talks about the impact Maeterlinck's work has had on him. He talks about cosmology in terms of Maeterlinck's work. He also explains how his interest for orchids was sparked.
