He shares the duties his career as a lawyer entails. Mortegous and Peicovich discuss poets including Jorge Luis Borges, Luis de Gongora, Eduardo Mallea, and Ezequiel Martinez Estrada, among others. Mortegous tells about his family and initial interests in literature. He talks about his writing of Nudos de hierro and explains why he took so long to publish it. Peicovich recites the titles of the quartets that Mortegous's work is split into. Mortegous explains why he structured his book in this way and reads a fragment of the text.
