Pugliese was born in Vicente Lopez, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has authored Voces como furias. Terranova is a translator, essayist, founder and director of literary magazine Arbol de Arena, and previously worked on the magazine El Hombre que Ladra. Editor and poet De Nápoli is author of Limite bailable. Terranova talks about the work of architect and poet Richard England, whom he has translated the work of. He explains how he came to be a translator, difficulties as a translator, and why he enjoys doing it so much. De Nápoli talks about the responsibilities of a translator. Pugliese talks about the authors which she included in her work, El templo del silencio, which comes in a floppy disk edition. Terranova reads a poem by Pier Paolo Pasolini. De Nápoli and Pugliese both read some of their own work. Pugliese also reads a paragraph in her work by Rainer Maria Rilke. Terranova talks about the authors that originally appealed to his interest as a translator and of works-in-progress. |
