Summary:Peicovich interviews bandoneon player Oscar Zucchi. Zucchi was born in Colegiales, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1935. He is a member and founder of the National Tango Academy. Zucchi talks about his own work and the musical function of the bandoneon. He explains the basic concept behind the invention of the bandoneon by German Carl Uhlig. He also explains the small differences in accordion-like instruments in Europe and how they are played. Zucchi also compares the original and present-day structure of the bandoneon. A song by bandoneon player Roberto Di Filippo is played. Throughout the interview Zucchi and Peicovich discuss several artists and their work including Sebastian Ramon Mejia, Antonio Chape, and Leopoldo Federico.
