| Summary: | Esteban Peicovich interviews Sergio Amigo and Viviana Lomardi, who work in theatre, the life and texts of Samuel Beckett such as Molloy, Malone dies, The unnamable, Murphy, Watt and Texts for nothing. Peicovich reads a prologue by Frederick Carr for a Beckett book and also a letter about Beckett from Fabian Casas. Beckett was born in 1906 in Dublin, Ireland and wrote much of his work after World War II. Regardless his texts do not concern the art of war. He is one of the key writers of the so called Theatre of the Absurd. He died December 22, 1989. Peicovich talks with Amigo and Lombardi about their work with Beckett's texts. They connect Shakespeare to Beckett. They will be doing some of Beckett's pieces in the original english, but they perform Cascando and a part of Rough from Radio 1. Peicovich plays a tape of Dias Felices where Vicky Olivarez plays Winne, Jose Landia plays Willie, and it is directed by Jorge Pizon. |
