Item Description:"This small book on John Baskerville, along with the Twenty-First Century Specimen, were printed on a Vandercook #4 at the Hesterberg Press, Evanston, Illinois in the Spring of 2011. Baskerville type was used throughout in all of its available forms, which included hand-set foundry and Monotype metal type from the PRess, along with machine-set nine point Baskerville Monotype and border ornaments by Michael & Winifred Bixler. Monotype Digital type was used for the text and printed from metal engravings on Soft-White Zerkal Book Smooth. Illustrations were photocopied from original digital photographs and mounted at the press. The cover paper was marbled by Iris Nevins. All binding was done by the Campbell-Logan Bindery, Minneapolis.
