Description
Summary:Esteban Peicovich reads a short story by Horacio Godoy. Peicovich interviews novelist and journalist Juan Forn. Forn was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina in 1959. He talks about his prized gem, Llamadas telefonicas by Chilean writer Roberto Bolano. He talks about his journey in becoming a writer, from his angry teenage years, his romantic poetic years, and finally writing prose in Europe. Forn talks about commonalities in the impact sent through different mediums of art. Another one of the writers he thoroughly enjoys and talks about is William Faulkner. Forn talks about the effects short stories and narratives have on the reader, especially at a time with greater publishing and less discrimination for an author's work. Works he has published and are not further discussed include, but are not limited to Corazones cautivos mas arriba (1987) and Nadar de noche (1991).
