Summary:Esteban Peicovich reads a short story by Augusto Monterroso and a short story by Polish writer Slawomir Mrozek. Peicovich interviews essayist, critic, analyst and story teller Enrique Anderson Imbert who was born in 1910. Imbert compares Aristotle's philosophy with the structure of literature. He talks about the importance of the structure of a story, while Peicovich compares this concept to Edgar Allen Poe's. Imbert talks about the distinction between poetry and narratives. He talks about the points of view narratives can take on and how that translates to the reader. Imbert was once a professor at the National Univeristy of Tucuman. He has taught classes in Hispanic-American Literature at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan from 1947 through 1965 when Harvard University instituted their first Hipanic-American Literature department, where he stayed until his retirement in 1980.
