Description
Summary:Peicovich interviews poet and essayist Chantal Maillard. Maillard was born in Argentina and at age 12 she left to Spain where she later began her career. She teaches aesthetic realism and Eastern philosophy at the Malaga University in Spain. A couple of Maillard's works include, La creacion por la metafora (1992) and La otra orilla (1990). Maillard briefly addresses the meaning of her name and a poet's job as an artist. More thoroughly, Peicovich and Maillard discuss religion and death in terms of eastern philosophy and of Maillard's own personal philosphy. They further discuss and compare Christ and Buddah.
