Summary:Esteban Peicovich reads autobiographical work by Macedonio Fernandez, an Indian proverb, a passage and a poem by German poet Ingebor Bachmann, and two poems by Susan Griffin, followed by concise biographical information of both Bachmann and Griffin. Peicovich interviews Alicia Genovese and María del Carmen Colombo. Colombo was born in La Boca, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1950. The three discuss Colombo's book, La muda encarnacion, later Colombo reads a poem out of this text. Peicovich and Colombo also discuss men and women's roles in society and in poetry. Genovese describes what happened at the 5th Latin American Poetry Festival, and how it reflected that poetry is much alive. Each of the authors presents their personal motivations for writing. Genovese has published various works which are not discussed including, El cielo posible (1977), El mundo encima (1982), Anonima (1992), and El borde es un rio, which she reads a poem from. Books Colombo has published, which are not further discussed include La edad necesaria (1979) and Blues de Amasijo (1985). Colombo won the first Quinto Centenario Poetry Award in 1992 and currently coordintes writing works shops.
