Summary:Peicovich interviews poet and novelist Susana Szwarc who was born in Quitilipi, a city in the province of Chaco, Argentina. Szwarc was editor for the magazine Literatura Aguas Vivias. Growing up in Quitilipi, she talks about the various languages she became familiar with, including Guarani. She also talks about the cultural beliefs of the indigenous people and of their genocide. Szwarc talks about her love for literature and how it led up to her calling as a writer. She has published a few books including, El artista del sueno y otros cuentos and En lo separado, although they are not discussed over the course of this interview, she does read one of her poems. Szwarc won the first national award Iniciacion de Poesia in 1984.
