| Summary: | Peicovich interviews Jorge Zunino who was born in Argentina on November 2, 1948. He graduated from the University of El Salvador with a degree in Philosophy. Zunino funded and directed a magazine, Nosferato, from 1972 through 1978. He is currently Editor-In-Chief at Ultimo Reino, which has been around since 1979. Zunino talks about the languages he grew up with and what he did with them later in his life, which leads to their discussion of Greek philosophy and how it is reflected in the contemporary way of thinking. He is a fan of Sophocles's Antigone and talks about how this story has been an insipiration for him as a writer. Zunino reads a poem out of his very first book, Noches. Other books Zunino has published, but are not discussed in this interview include, Islas (1981), Cruazada de las delicias (1992), and La torre de los crepusculos (1995). |
