Summary:Leda Schiavo reads a story that was published in the magazine Letras de Buenos Aires. Esteban Peicovich interviews Argentine writer and professor Schiavo. Schiavo graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a degree in Philosophy and Language. In 1979 she received her Ph.D. in Hispanic Literature. She works in Chicago at the University of Illinois and frequently travels to Madrid for work. Schiavo talks about the influence El tesoro de la joventud had on her when she was young. She talks about the greatness she experiences in Buenos Aires as well as of the poverty she witnesses. Schiavo also addresses prominent problems that are in the United States, she feels that although different than Buenos Aires, both are rooted in education. She talks about her own thirst for knowledge and she describes her experience having Jorge Luis Borges as one of her own teachers. Schiavo explains why she has thoroughly studied Ramon del Valle-Inclan and describes Valle-Inclan as a writer. She reads a prologue from one of the books she has written on him.
