Description
Summary:The program begins with a recording by deceased poet Eliseo Diego, of his own work. Esteban Peicovich interviews Jorge Ricardo Aulicino. Aulicino was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 11, 1949. He talks about his short-lived education, and his true writing teacher, journalism. He also talks about what is particularly important to him about literature and how that translates to journalism. Peicovich and Aulicino discuss the differences between a novelist and a journalist, and suggest perhaps why they have different interests in Cain and Abel. Works Aulicino has published, and are not further discussed in the interview include, Reunion (1969), Mejor matar esa lagrima (1971), Vuelo bajo (1974), Poeta antiguo (1980), La caida de los cuerpos (1983), Paisaje con autor (1988), Hombres en un restaurante (1994), and Almas en movimiento (1995).
