Summary:In the first part of an extended and personal interview, Sara Gallardo talks with Esteban Peicovich about her life in the countryside, her upbringings in an upper class family in Argentina, her family, her childhood memories, asthma, and many other topics. She talks about her published books, Enero, Pantalones azules, Los galgos, los galgos, Eisejuaz, El país del humo, and La rosa en el viento, and she spends some time explaining and critiquing her novels. Gallardo also talks about her two husbands, her children, and her jobs as a columnist and journalist for different magazines. After leaving Argentina, she moved to Barcelona, Spain in 1978 to write and this is where the interview takes place.
