Summary:Esteban Peicovich interviews Victor Grippo, an Argentine painter and sculptor in Buenos Aires. Grippo is famous for an art piece involving potatoes that generated electricity called Analogia 1. Grippo explains the reasons that lead him to fine arts, his arts, and his interest in alchemy. He also talks about his biography, his birthplace,Junin, the importance of that city in his life and art, the influence of his art teacher and his father on his artistic career and other topics. Grippo talks about fine arts and the evolution from the Impressionists in the 19th Century to the Abstract Impressionism and Installation Art in the 20th Century. He describes some of his exhibitions in Buenos Aires and other places, focussing on the famous piece, Analogia 1, and explains that some of his works are based on scientific facts. Grippo also describes pieces of art dedicated to his mother and Albert Einstein, a piece called Vida-Muerte-Resurreción and a piece called Equilibrios, and a series of works involving plumes and scales.
