They talk about Borges's poetry as well as other poets, such as Octavio Paz, a Mexican poet, writer, and diplomat who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1990. They also discuss the differences between the Latin American poetry and the European poetry. He says he acquired interest in poetry at an early age. His parents would take him to see plastics art, painting exhibitions, and architecture in museums. In addition, he did not only learn poetry from books, but also from his parents who were artists as well. |
