| Item Description: | Title supplied by cataloger. "This seal, a cylindrical stone rolled into dampened clay to produce an impression, could be carried as an amulet but would also be used to authenticate or notarize administrative tablets. Carved into a piece of red marble, this seal portrays a priest of Marduk, the primary deity of the city of Babylon.
