Description
Summary:These are two separate interviews on one recording. First, Esteban Percovich talks with Miguel Espejo, during a phone interview, about the death of the Argentine poet Enrique Molina. Espejo describes Molina as one of the greatest Argentine poets, talking about their projects and some unpublished interviews about 1947-1952, years when Molina lived in Peru and Bolivia. Poems by Molina, El ala de la gaviota and Hotel Pajaro illustrate why Espejo considers Molina as a seabird, despite the fact that Molina considered himself as an ant. Espejo also talks about the influence that Molina's maritime travels had on Molina's life and writings. Espejo talks about his book El conocimiento poético, written about Molina's writings, particularly Una sombra donde suena Camila O'Gorman. The conversation ends with Peicovich reading a fragment of the poem Adios by Molina and with Espejo emphasizing the importance of compiling Molina, considering his recent death. Next, Peicovich talks with Liliana Lukin, during a phone interview, about Molina's death. She reads a fragment of one of his poems, Alta marea. She describes her few meetings with Molina and talks about his paintings, providing a brief description of some of them. The interview ends with Lukin reading one of her poems Carta XVI.
