They talk about Cozarinsky's two books, La novia de Odessa and El pase del testigo, to be presented in the 2001 book fair. Cozarinsky, a filmmaker and a writer, talk about his life in Paris with regular visits to Argentina, his filmmaking and writing and his reasons/motives behind these activities. Cozarinsky published Vudú urbano in 1985 with forewords from Guillermo Cabrera Infante and Susan Sonntag. Some of his films include Puntos suspensivos, La guerra de un solo hombre, El violín de Rotschild, Fantasmas de Tánger and Van Gogh y su doble. Many of his films received awards and honors from different countries and festivals. Among many things, Cozarinsky talks about when he started writing because of his extreme autocriticism and censorship, his opinions on what critics say about him and ends the interview reading a short story from his book El pase del testigo. |
