Summary:	The first twelve pages are the rules of the Confraternity. The remainder of the book is comprised of monthly lessons or devotions, each consisting of a quote from scripture, discussion, and prayer. The first page of each one has an engraaved illustration at the top, and is encased in a decorative border. "Vidit I. L. Carvajal, L.C." appears at the end of each lesson, perhaps indicating the original author.
Item Description:	The work as a whole was issued in monthly installments between August 1703 and December 1739. Completed in 9 volumes. This exemplar was exerpted from the first volume (1703-1708. It covers January 1704 through December 1705. THe Cushing Library/Dawson French Collection copy has siglum of the Capuchin Poor Clare convent of Bruges and a property stamp from their library.
