| Summary: | Esteban Peicovich interviews journalist and translator Pablo Ingberg in Buenos Aires about his trip to Banff, Canada with a scholarship from the Centre for the Arts there. Ingberg discusses the trip and about how it affected his writing process. The issues he had with having too much time to write and not enough time at all. They talk about the beginning of his new narrative that was an idea sprung from another book Ingberg wrote called Diario de un Misogeno. Peicovich then asks Ingberg how his personal life has influenced his writing and they go into in-depth discussion on an aunt that dies in Ingberg's book and whether he pulled from his own experiences for the development of the characters and the story. Peicovich mentions other books by Ingberg such as Camino a Damasco (1995), Todos los Caminos Conducen a Roma, and Safo. Peicovich begins asking about his interviews and Ingberg mentions his talks with Harold Bloom and other literary figures he happens to interview. |
