Description
Summary:The STAN Industry Structural Analysis Database was created to fill the gap between the detailed data collected through industrial surveys (such as those found in the OECD's SSIS database) which have limited international comparability, and national accounts data which are more internationally comparable but only available at fairly aggregate levels. STAN permits the construction of a wide range of industry- and aggregate-level indicators of industrial structure and the evolution of performance (e.g. import penetration, investment per employee, export market shares) and enables modeling exercises at a detailed industrial level. Includes ANBERD (Analytical business enterprise research and development database). Users can build statistical tables based on specific variables, view and print reports as multidimensional tables or graphs, and download statistical data in IVT, XLS and CSV formats for use with Beyond 20/20's statistical software, Microsoft Excel or other programs.
