The madrigals and ayres (1632) are for canto, alto, tenor, quinto, basso and basso continuo, in varying combinations. A booke of ayres (1601) contains 21 songs by Campion and 21 by Rosseter, for voice and lute or orpheoreon (in tablature); includes part for bass viol (inverted). Facsims. of the British Museum sets.
