South Africa: the unfolding of sky features a dialogue between an Afrikaans woman who has reported on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings, and an African woman who has been a victim of the apartheid system in South Africa. Moçambique: from the ashes shows how people in a small Mozambican village are working towards reconciliation following the civil war. Zimbabwe: soul in torment deals with the massacres carried out in Zimbabwe after independence in 1980, featuring a member of the 5th Brigade whose deeds still torment him although he has tried the channels of official restitution. |
