Summary:Bud Fox is a young and ambitious stock trader. He is willing do just about anything to get into the big leagues. He has been actively courting one of the biggest stock speculators on Wall Street, Gordon Gekko. Gekko manipulates the market using inside information. His motto, 'Greed is good,' best describes his approach to the market. Nothing will stop him from pursuing a good deal and he takes advantage of Bud's burning desire to succeed. Bud finds himself getting information from any source and using it to gain an advantage. But Gekko decides to target Blue Star airlines. This is the company where Bud's father has worked for 24 years. Gekko is secretly planning to break it up and plunder the employees' retirement fund.
