One of the Cushing Library/Lit./Edward Thomas copies is inscribed to Perceval Gibbon by the author and has gilt top edges, gold lettering on front cover and spine, and the publisher's monogram ornament, "Desormais" variety, on the lower left-hand corner of the back cover.
One of the Cushing Library/Lit./Edward Thomas copies is inscribed to James Guthrie by Edward Thomas, then to Nora from Guthrie ("Nora" is the second wife of Guthrie's son, Stuart -- bookseller's description), and has the gilt edges and lettering version of the binding.
One of the Cushing Library/Lit./Edward Thomas copies was donated by J. Lawrence Mitchell and has a dust jacket, dark green lettering on front cover and spine, and the publisher's ornament in lower left-hand corner of the back corner. Pencilled notes on front free endpaper attributed to Helen Thomas by a previous owner.
