This is a shocking documentary about the composer's life, from Terezin to Auschwitz, and about his desperate attempts to escape the Nazis, but at the same time it is about the fate of his children, the only members of his family who were able to flee from Prague with the consequence that they would suffer all their lives from this brutal separation from their parents.
