Summary:	Three films starring the popular Danish silent cinema actor Valdemar Psilander. In Temptations of a great city, a son's relationship wth his mother is strained due to his playboy pursuits and resulting debts. In The great circus catastrophe, a loosely framed plot serves to connect a series of sensational scenes such as an escape from a burning hotel, a laison with a promiscuous woman and a dangerous circus act with a horse. The candle and the moth tells a lurid tale of sex and crime leading to the protagonist's imprisonment and reformation.
