Canning, edition by Wm Gifford, with contributions by them and J.H. Frere, Geo. Ellis, Lord Morpeth, Henry Addington, Geo. Hammond, Edw. Nares, John Macdonald, others (possibly Pitt). Uses satire to support Pitt and the Tory ministry against the Whig radical press. There are at least 2 different settings of the early issues (1-12 different from KU-S E808), textually similar (not identical) but in very different order.
