The report of John Smith, engineer, pointing out the method of making a navigable canal from Wakefield to the head of the River Went : and from thence, by the course of that river, into the Dun, at a place called Went-Mouth, and also of draining certain low grounds ... together with an estimate of the expences thereof ... : to the estimate are added some remarks upon the present necessity of making a safe and ready navigation from the Calder to the Humber.
