It is humbly proposed that all plate which is, or shall hereafter be made, weighing one ounce or upwards, receive a stamp or mark paying for the same ... : that any person bringing plate so marked to the mint to be coined, shall receive six shillings and eight pence for gold and six pence for silver, per ounce, over and above the intrinsick value.
