Summary:The Atlanta Constitution (1868-1942) offers full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue. The only Atlanta newspaper that survived the Civil War, the Constitution established a national reputation for being progressive and became one of the few southern newspapers to support the Civil Rights Movement.
