"This edition is limited to 195 copies of which 95 contain an original letter by Bernhardt Wall"--Colophon. Contains eight tipped-in etchings printed directly from Wall's plates, two original postcards, and five photogravures of Wall etchings. Purchased for the Cushing Library/Kelsey Americana collection by the Cushing Library as part of the Bernhardt Wall Collection in honor of 90th birthday of Dr. Mavis P.Kelsey, class of 1932, for whom the Mary and Mavis P. Kelsey Reading Room is named. The Cushing Library Lowman copy is part of the Craig Jensen Collection. The Cushing Library Lowman copy is copy number 75 of 95 copies with Wall's letters laid in; binding designed to look like a wall binding; dust-jacket and slipcase. |
