Item Description:By Osgood Carleton. The calculations in the eclipse notes, and for the sun, moon, and tides in the calendar pages, are identical (except for some typographical errors in the present edition) with those in his An astronomical diary: or An almanack for 1792 (Boston: S. Hall). The wording of the eclipse predictions is practically identical. The notes on the calendar pages, though differing, correspond as often as not.
Also issued by Coverly as Bickerstaff's genuine Massachusetts, New-Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode-Island, and Connecticut almanack, with differences in the title page but otherwise identical in contents and typography.
