Description
Item Description:Half-title: The federal almanack.
Apparently by Samuel Bullard. The astronomical notes on the calendar pages parallel those in his An almanack for the year of Christian aera 1789 (Boston), except for being fewer in number. Most of the calendar pages differ by only one minute, a degree of correspondence never achieved in early almanacs by different calculators. The disparity probably reflects the publisher's desire for an almanac applicable to and saleable in New England areas removed from the meridian of Boston.
