Item Description:Signed on page 19: Thomas Jefferson, secretary of state.
The Postscript (page 22) is dated Jan. 10, 1791. An earlier impression (Evans 22994) lacks the Postscript and was presumably issued in 1790.
Two states, described by Evans as separate impressions (entries 22995, 22996), noted. In one, the Postscript is printed on verso of leaf F1. In the other, the Postscript is printed on recto of leaf F2, with versos of F1 and F2 blank.
