The Boston Episcopal Charitable Society was instituted in 1724, and incorporated in Feb. 1784. Both before and after incorporation, the Society held its annual meeting on Easter Tuesday.
The angel border ornament (Reilly 726) at head and foot was first used in Boston by Richard Draper in 1757.
