| Item Description: | "Anthony Sharp" is a pseudonym found only in almanacs published by Bailey. Attributed by Evans to David Rittenhouse, presumably on the basis of his past authorship of this and other Pennsylvania almanacs. Rittenhouse's name ceased to appear on almanacs after 1782. Advertised in the Freeman's journal, Philadelphia, Oct. 8, 1783. Title vignette. The Anatomy is the only other illustration. Electronic resource. |
