Item Description:Two states of gathering A noted, with variant settings of the imprint and with the formes for pages [2-4] rearranged. In one, "Hartford:" is set in Roman type and page [2] begins with "Astronomical notes." In the other state, "Hartford:" is set in italic and page [2] begins with "Eclipses."
Except for the imprint and the second line of the title, the state of the present almanac with "Eclipses" at the head of page [2] is identical in content and typography with The New-England almanack for the year of our Lord 1781 ... by the professor of mathematicks in Yale-College (Worcester : Anthony Haswell).
Advertised in the Connecticut courant, Hartford, Oct. 10, 1780.
