Evidently not issued separately. Dedicated to George Washington. Two states noted. In the first, [A] is a gathering of 8 leaves. In the second, the first 8 leaves are imposed as two gatherings, the first unsigned, the second signed B (as is the third gathering). The title page has been entirely reset, with the words "--where printing is performed ..." dropped from the imprint. The remainder of the gathering has also been reset, at least in part, and an excerpt "From the first American edition" has been moved from [A]1 verso to [A]2 recto. Electronic resource. |
