A form of prayer, proper to be used in all churches and chapels throughout the province of New-York, on Friday the seventh day of May, 1762 : being the day appointed by proclamation, for the solemn humiliation of ourselves before Almighty God, with prayer and fasting; to supplicate the pardon of our sins, thro' the mediation of our Blessed Redeemer; to deprecate those heavy judgements which we have most justly deserved; and to implore the continuance of the Divine blessing, on His Majesty's arms; and for restoring and perpetuating peace, safety, and prosperity to His Majesty, his kingdoms and colonies.
