| Item Description: | The author's preface is a shortened copy of that in the New-England almanack and gentlemen and ladies' diary for 1800, by Nathan Daboll (New London). The eclipse predictions on page [3], and most of the astronomical and horological notes and the calculations for the sun and moon on the calendar pages, are identical with Daboll's. The adjustment in the calculations reflects the difference in the meridian for which the respective almanacs are calculated. The Anatomy is the only illustration. Electronic resource. |
