Item Description:The predictions for the transit of Mercury (page [2]), the calculations for the sun and moon on the calendar pages, and many of the calendar page notes are identical with those in The New-England almanac and gentlemen and ladies' diary for 1799, by Nathan Daboll (New London). The eclipse predictions on page [2] are a shortened version of Daboll's.
