The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages are an adjusted but otherwise identical version of those in the Pennsylvania town and country-man's almanack for 1773, by John Tobler (Wilmington, Del.).
The preface, allegedly by the calculator, is a poem soliciting rags for the printer to alleviate a paper shortage.
Advertised in the Pennsylvania packet, Philadelphia, Sept. 7, 1772.
The Anatomy is the only illustration.
