At the General Assembly of the governor and Company of the English colony of Rhode-Island, and Providence Plantations, in New-England, in America : begun and holden by adjournment at Newport, in said colony, on Monday the thirteenth of June, one thousand seven hundred and fifty-seven, and in the thirtieth year of the reign of His Most Sacred Majesty George the Second, by the grace of God, King of Great-Britain, and so forth. : An act for proportioning the rate of one hundred thousand pounds old-tenor, upon the several towns in this colony, and for ordering the same to be assessed, levied, and collected, before or upon the last day of October next.
