At the General Assembly of the governor and Company of the English colony of Rhode-Island, and Providence-Plantations, in New-England, in America : begun and holden at South-Kingstown, within and for the said colony, on the last Wednesday of October, one thousand seven hundred and fifty-seven, and in the thirty first year of the reign of His Most Sacred Majesty George the Second, by the grace of God, King of Great-Britain, and so forth. : An act for assessing upon the inhabitants of this colony, a rate or tax of four thousand pounds, in bills of credit which were emitted in February, one thousand seven hundred and fifty-six, to be collected, levied, and brought into the general treasury, before or upon the last day of February next.
