A proclamation : Whereas the honorable General Assembly of the state of Massachusetts-Bay, were pleased on the 30th day of April last to pass the following resolve, viz "If any person .. shall sell or dispose of any wine, spirits ... to any British or foreign troops" ... the major-general calls upon all persons ... to pay strict attention to the foregoing resolve ... Given under my hand at head-quarters, in Boston, this 10th day of July, A.D. 1778.
