Item Description:The author of the calendar and eclipse pages was Andrew Beers. The calculations and astronomical notes on these pages are identical throughout with those in Webster's calendar, or The Albany almanack, for 1798, by Beers (Albany), except that the calculations for the rising and setting of the sun and moon vary slightly for the early part of each month. These pages are identical in contents and typography with those in: The Farmer's calendar, or Fry and Southwick's almanack for 1798 (Albany: J. Fry and H.C. Southwick).
